Long time eh ?

Its been a long time since we updated this blog . Been busy with school , exam and sometimes I'm just too lazy to upload =P. RDK had a few activities organized since the last I updated this blog such as Clan War and Lan Match. We also recruited many new members into our family.

Lan Match

Recently , during the last school holidays , we ( Subz , Tyga , Zolon , Dangerous and Mindfreak ) organized a  LAN Match with a few of our friends from neighbouring schools in Kajang. Supposedly we were to play a 5v5 match , but because 1 of their member couldnt make it , so a 5v4 match was held instead.

Finally , after a ''close'' battle , we won the match . Here's some screenshots of the LAN match's results.

Clan War with NEXUS

On the 10th to Jun , 5 of RDK members ( Subz , Rexion , eRRRR , Kingsurf. , Py ) took part an a Clan War against 5 of Nexus players , consisting of two Garena members and three Steam players. On the first round , when we were in Counter-terrorist we lost 9 - 6 but on the second round , we won with a score of 10 - 0. Heres a screenshot of the players on that day .

We hope to play against Nexus again in the future and we also hope that Nexus will work on their sportsmanship by using their own official Nexus players instead of players from outside their clan. Lastly, we hope that both our clans will continue to grow positively in the world of E-games . =D

BREAKING NEWS

KAJANG, 19 April 2011 -  Mr.Subzero , RDKs clan lord made another important announcement today. According to him , the 'divisions' thingy will be taken to the next level by separating the two divisions into two separate clans. Division 1 will now be known as RDK : T.S.T and Division 2 , RDK : NvR. Since RDK is separated into 2 individual clans now. There will also be changes in the 'Ranks' . Subzero will be the Clan Lord for TsT and Tyga will be the new Clan Lord for NvR. Subzero also added that the reason he made this decision  is because there are too many members in RDK. Besides that , T.S.T is more superior compared to NvR. So to make things easier, and to make sure RDK is well maintained, Subzero decided to make this BIG decision.

Still blur ? Sigh. Okay okay, imagine this : RDK is a country , Subzero is the Emperor with his Royal Family and Tyga is the Prime Minister with his Parliament members. Now get it ?

Hello citizens of the CS world (:D) .

Our clan lord , Mr.Subzero has officially declared that the RDK clan will be divided into two main divisions, the 'First Division' and the 'Second Division'.

'First Div.' members are more superior compared to 'Second Div.' members in terms of gaming skill so only 'First Div.' members can participate in Clan Wars and serious matches. Second division will have this 'tag' ( [2nd.] ) , behind their names while the 'First Div.' members names remains as usual. Here are the names of members from the 'First Div.' and 'Second Div.'

Growing feels great , HELLYEAH ! ...and HAPPY NEW YEAR ! :D

We have come quite a long way since the day we established ourselves back in 2009. Many things changed , many members grew inactive and eventually left the CS world. But there are still few that remain , and many new members which have recently joined. I would like to welcome Joking[Haha] , Pinz , Dessous , Krazish , Noobzai , Sentrypath , Wk. , Jonkuan and Rexion into the RDK family. I hope that we all would continue gaming passionately, respect our fellow members, respect other players, and most importantly have fun.

Time flies and without realizing it is already 2011, a big year for some of us because we ( Subzero , tifa. , X-Zolon) will be sitting for our SPM examination. Due to this 'inconvenience' , these members will be a lil' inactive this year. But worry not , because we will be back after SPM with more energy and enthusiasm. We would also like to wish all CS players out there , Happy New Year 2011 , may we have a great year ahead.

Its been almost two months since we updated this blog. To be honest , this 'group' is not very active, maybe even inactive. ( LOL ) So dont bother lookin up for events and stuff 'coz theres none , yet. Maybe in the future we'll be more active, hopefully. So enough of our emo-ness. We're supposed to be happy today ... right ? yea ! happy ! Why ? because its raya. We would like to wish all Malaysians and especially the Malays 'Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri' and happy holidays ! And if im not mistaken , its also the Mooncake festival. So ... um ... err ... happy mooncake eating ! I love mooncakes and rendang,lemang,ketupat. :P

We've noticed ( since we started gaming 1 year ago ) that many of the gamers in GG are a LITTLE racist and this is a lil disturbing sometimes. Gaming skills should not be measured by race or gender. There are only pros , noobs , newbs and there are also those who just play for fun. We know that this topic is a lil disturbing but yeah ... deep down you know that this is happening. This should be stopped and everyone should be given a chance to play ... happily!

This time , we would like to share with you guys a short movie , titled 'Gadoh'.

Movie synopsis : Gadoh tells a story of a group of teenagers who fought each other along racial lines; a cycle of hatred and violence further escalated by their environment and school system.

What was to be a quick resolution to improve the school’s bad image, was taken as an opportunity for one teacher who believed that real change was possible. She ropes in the help of an old friend and reluctant maverick theater activist for this arduous task.

Is there hope amidst the cycle of discrimination that surrounds us?

Watch Gadoh for their story, and what it may very well tell us about ourselves.

1)NINTENDO 3DS-Nintendo DS in 3D

Who knew Nintendo would create a handheld which creates 3D effects while gaming Without the expensive glasses!!!Not only is it's gaming in 3D,you can even watch movies that feature 3D on the 3DS...for example..Despicable Me and Toy Story 3!!!(FTW)

Well that's all for consoles and accessories...now the GAMES!!!!

Games in E3.

After a 7 years Disappearance.......Tron comes back with it's latest game Tron Evolution!!
Basically..it's a third person action game with a little bit of 'Glow in the Dark 'Racing and RPG together.The combat is based on the Brazilian martial art Capoeira(We get to kick ass and be good at dancing Too!)

The Electronic Entertainment Expo or E3 for those of you who don't know has just ended....A few weeks ago..(15-17 June)..hahaha..E3 feature's some of the world's most anticipated revelations on gaming and consoles.Without further a due...I give A (Not So )Full Coverage on E3.

1)The Kinect For X Box 360----->

As you can see here....The Kinect is that horizontal little thing on the side.For Microsoft to further it's console war against The Nintendo Wii &The Sony
Playstation 3...They have released this 'Gadjet' to further improve one's gaming.It features a wireless sensor that tracks movement and put's it to play into the game.Known as 'Project Natal' Before it was revelaed...the Kinect can also connect a person to the Zune Interface allowing you to video chat with another person.
2)The Playstation Move + Playstation Eye--

Competing with the Wii Remote & Kinect which also uses the wireless gaming application,Finally Sony has unveil their game motion sensing remote which is the Playstaion Move.Along with the 'Move'....the Playstation Eye is used to track your positioning with 3D using Special Illuminating 'Circles'.Works as a Camera and a Microphone.

Lemme see ... its 1.41 am , 14th of Jun 2010 and the football fever is here. Luckily, I'm no affected yet. This maybe our last chance to watch the World Cup because as you all know the world will end in 2012. So enjoy the World Cup season guys ! Okay , I've crapped enough for now.

Q: What's up ?
A: Nothing ... but i got some ideas. Here goes.

RDK members each hold a specific number to 'mark' themselves with. This numbers was chosen by the members it self and it doesn't mean anything. To me it doesn't ... but to others i don't know. So , to spice things up a little ... i was planning to turn those meaningless numbers into something meaningful by making it our ranks. Means the person with 00 is the best and followed by 01 , 02 , so on and so forth. This is just my idea.

Interesting ? I know ! HAHAHA !

So , if this idea is accepted by fellow members then we will begin to compete for the ranks

I have no idea how to start this thing and how members will get their starting number. Guess i'll put the numbers randomly for them , then if who 'tak puas' can compete for a better rank. Or please tell me if you have better ideas on how to start this thing.

Please let me know if you guys are interested in this idea of mine.

and .... please take note that this isn't a 'fight' to prove who is better but it is a challenge to you all to always better yourselves. If you take this as 'ENTERTAINMENT ONLY' ...its fine. Thats the reason why games were made anyway ... to keep us entertained. It is not to be taken TOO seriously. Too much of anything good will eventually turn bad.

Gaming and so much more

Q: Is gaming all you guys do ?
A: WTF ! No ! RDK isn't ONLY about gaming.

We're much MUCH more than that.
So lets get this straight ... this is just a group where we do fun activities together. And we mainly play games so ... ACCIDENTALLY this became a gaming group.

So we're a gaming group.

Confusing ? DEAL WITH IT !

This is our first post BTW.

Q: Whats going on and whats going to go on?
A: Got la.

Our member , Devaagar is going to OFFICIALLY create a CLAN in Garena. At last ... something official. This makes him the clan LORD of our clan in Garena. He really deserves to be the clan lord because of his skill in gaming. He is a PRO (in my eyes). But even if he is the CLAN lord ... he certainly isnt the LORD of RDK. So who is ? NO ONE !

So ... lets all hope that Devaagar creates the clan ASAP ! We need it ! :) (Make sure to thank him)

Q: Anything else about gaming ?
A: Don't think so ... maybe we all should go and 'lepak' in the CC ? If got ... we'll inform you guys.

Q: Anything else besides gaming ? Any outings ?
A: Yeah ! For sure ! Mid-term exams are over ! Apa lagi ... enjoy la.

The problem is ... when and where. I don't have any idea.
Need to plan one ASAP. Any plans ? Any ideas ? Please inform me.

When the clan in garena is up and running, the function of this blog will change a little. We will be more concentrated on RDK GG CS CLAN rather then RDK itself. Posts will be more on gaming rather than activities. But don't worry. Every once in awhile posts BESIDES gaming will be posted.

Oh ... if you're wondering what is the 'Q:' and 'A:' thingy ... Q is question and A is answer ... it makes my life easier so i don't have to use POWER English and crack my head on topics. Its to make your life easier too ... so you can identify topics fast and just skip if you're not interested in the topic.
